Bourne Grammar School has been named the best state-funded secondary school in Lincolnshire by a new guide.
The Real Schools Guide 2020, compiled by the data unit of the Lincolnshire Echo and Targets’ parent company Reach, aims to give a far more comprehensive picture than traditional league tables.
It takes into account 51 different data points including exam results, the Attainment 8 and Progress 8 measures of achievement in up to eight subjects, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates, Lincolnshire Live reports.
Bourne Grammar School, in South Road, was awarded five stars and a total score of 80 in the guide, and is ranked in 11th place out of 3,181 schools nationally.
