Number of children per class: 4-5 (at centre).
Lessons: Flexible. There is no dedicated 11-plus programme – the centre devises a programme according to the target schools of a child. Number of sessions per week or month depends on budget and requirements.
Target schools: Has experience of Kingston Grammar School and Tiffin School among others.
Cost: £32 for 80-minute sessions which are held in groups of four to five. Each child is set his or her individual programme to follow – the children are not taught together. There is time within the session for one-on-one help.
Notes: Ofsted rated. Tutors who are all qualified teachers are DBS checked. No sixth formers or students are employed as tutors. Kip McGrath was founded in 1976 in Australia and has over 560 centres globally.
